Mark ET, holder of the Guinness World Dancing Stage endurance record, is planning an attempt at breaking his own record in Blackpool on the 31st August.
The attempt will be made on behalf of the charity UK Youth as part of their 90th birthday celebrations.
Mark told us all about his plans to raise the EuroMIX endurance bar even higher when he acted as compere at the London leg of the Tokyo Life finals on Saturday May 26th.
His original record stands at eight hours, undertaken on an old style Dancing Stage machine in the spring of 1999. Mark is hoping to extend his time by a FULL HOUR!
As EuroMIX contains considerably more songs than the old skool original, we think he should be able to set a new record without too much trouble!
We'll keep you posted on the UK Youth event and let you know if the record is broken. Just watch this space!
