Thanks to Neil Eldridge for locating the first DDR 3rd Mix machine in the UK, it's in Barry, South Wales. After spending a good hour on the machine, here's the full lowdown

Thanks to Neil E's probing, the arcade manager revealed the following :
The arcade is part of a large UK chain, which owns arcades all over the country. They have purchased ten machines from Konami, and so far, have placed on in Barry, and one in Blackpool.
The arcade chain is called 'Carousel'.. And the large Blackpool arcade is owned and operated by Family Leisure Group.
The ramifications of this are incredible.. Not only does this mean that 3rd Mix may soon be in a certain arcade near you, but it also means much more in the grand scale of things. Since imported machines are now in the UK, Euromix has no hope of competing, and if Euromix-owning arcades are planning to win back their customers from the cheaper, superior 3rd Mix machines, it means they'll have to upgrade the Euromix cabinets to 3/4/5th Mix.
With Euromix now well and truly out-dated by not only Pump It Up, but also 3rd Mix, Konami UK are coming under pressure to put up or shut up.. If Euromix 2 doesn't see the light of day soon, they may as well forget about seeling any more Euromix machines - nobody's going to play them.
