Japan is known for its technological advances and obviously DDR! So what are the kids doing these days? well with i-mode (WAP type service which is actually used) being popular for a while users can access information on the go... but in the past months Internet Cafes have seen a massive rise in demand.
Teens actually think hanging round net cafes are cool. necca and yahoo net cafes has seen massive growth.
The craze came from south korea where hip internet cafe have been running for a while. during August i manage to visit these new trendy net cafes and i must say they're not like your normal Easyeverything (UK). The Cafes seem much better with mutiplayer games installed on each comp, 19inch screens and high speed connections oh and Ikea furniture.
The multiplayer games and internet surfin concept has been in asian for a while but many western country still haven't grabbed on to the idea... instead focusing on value for money.
Who knows what the next craze will be....
