Yes, believe it or not this week is DanceGames 2nd birthday! Well, actually it's been two years since the old dancingstage.co.uk site was launched - it's a milestone indeed! We've been beset with problems over the last couple of years, from AWOL news writers to site crashes to...well just about everything. Well we're still here unfortunately, James is as funny as ever and Champ's English is still as poor as it use to be. DG.com has grown from being a small, badly designed site to a proper international community, with visitors from all over the world!
In this special edition, we present comments from staff members and site regulars both past and present, about how DG is cool etc. There's also a special "Did you know..." section at the end which is...interesting. As this special newsletter was written at short notice, comments are limited - sorry, blame it on Devon. So, if you'll all join me in singing Happy Birthday...on the count of 3...one....two...three!

....that the naughty owners of DanceGame.com tried to sell us their domain for US$6000! (dancegame.com is now a korean porn site)
....that DanceGames.com achieved more total hits in 3 months than the old site did in its life time.
....that the site is read in over 30 countries!
....that James and Champ's superb Beatmania promotion on Newsround, Radio 1, Cybernet and various magazines and newspapers, resulted in an awesome FIFTY copies of Beatmania: Euro Edit, being sold at launch nationwide. Xbox, eat your heart out (konami are known to give these out for free now)
....that before we created DanceGames.com, no one referred to a DanceGame as a DanceGame!
....that there have been a total of 6 BBS's!
....that the current BBS recieves 50,000 hits a month!
....there has been one DG "marriage" (which didn't last) - Doo and Lynsey, long gone from the site now!
....there have been 2 DG chat rooms!
....that the first visitor to the current DG chat room was the legendary GurtyGurt!
....that DG.com is visited by staff from many games companies including Konami and Andamiro! So next time you spout off about something, just think who could be reading...
....that Rolling Stone magazine used some of DG.com's pictures for one of their articles!
....that DanceGames.com Webserver is located in California USA , home of the biggest DG community in the world!
....that this newsletter has over 1000 subscribers!
....that the all the BBS's combined have had almost 2000 members!
....that the chat room has had 5,000 visitors since it opened last summer!
....that I can't think of anymore so we're just gonna stop here
